At the center of my case are a corrupt law firm and the New Jersey State Politicians, State Judges and State Officials,
who have been protecting them for seven years.
I hired the law firm Maynard & Truland to represent me in a divorce case that my ex-wife initiated. Being a disabled PTSD Vietnam Veteran, I
was terrified about losing custody of my two minors. With 22 days to file, I paid the law firm the accepted retainer
and begged the law firm to do their job. Their divorce attorney told me to calm down that he was a professional
and knew his job. A few days after the meeting, I didn't receive the papers to sign, so I started calling the divorce
lawyer, but he never got on the phone. Three times, I talked to the law firm's office manager. She told me not
to worry that their divorce lawyer knew his job.
You probably guessed by now what happened… The law firm screwed up big time. I was in a panic about losing my two kids. Besides other things, the divorce attorney Edward Busichio had me fall into divorce default,
over-charged me and charged me for divorce default removal. The default was due to the Maynard & Truland
divorce attorney’s gross negligence. (Why
should I be paying for his mistakes?) They had me a basket case. In desperation, I wrote to my local New Jersey Supreme Court Office of Attorney Ethics committee –
District X, complaining about the unethical behavior of the Maynard & Truland law firm.
With my complaint letter, I attached three letters that I had already
sent to Robert Correale and his law firm, along with official, federal Department of Veterans Affairs medical records.
After Maynard & Truland had me fall into default, the law firm’s
supervising partners switched my representation (Without my permission and knowledge) from their divorce lawyer, Robert Busichio
to a general-practice attorney, Robert Correale, who happened to work for them and was also the local New Jersey Supreme Court Attorney Ethics Vice-Chairman. Robert
Correale and Maynard & Truland carried a great deal of influence around all New Jersey courts.
When I
received an answer from Robert Correale’s and my Attorney Ethics committee, there was no mention of a Conflict
of Interest. (Correale was Vice-Chairman of the committee. This is where the Cover-Up started for the State of New Jersey... right in the
office of the Supreme Court.)
Sixty-nine
days into the contract (According to Maynard & Truland invoices), Robert Correale first started working to
remove me from their negligent divorce-default. Four months into the contract,
I was still in default. I had to write to the judge in order to get removed from divorce default. Robert Correale had me proof read his secretaries typing of a court document and then he charged
me for my time. The ethics violations
continued and the VA wanted me hospitalized for 45 days from the extra stress they were causing me. Robert Correale
asked me not to enter the hospital. He said it would be too hard for him to contact
me. I did not trust him or his law,
so I decided to postpone the help. About two weeks later, during divorce arbitration,
I had to handle my case, because Robert Correale came to court unprepared. I got what I wanted
and so did my ex-wife, although Robert Correale sat quiet for over 3 hours. (He charged me for his time
at the inflated rate.)
I refused to pay Maynard & Truland the rest of the money they said
I owed them. They were worse than crooks. I
tried to move on with my life the best I could. A few days before Christmas,
I received a court document stating there was a Superior Court case against me.
Maynard & Truland took me to court for the rest of the money ($1,600).
I counter sued Maynard & Truland and Robert Correale for legal malpractice. I represented
myself PRO SE, because I could not get a law firm to go after another law firm that had the local NJ Supreme Court Vice-Chairman
of Attorney Ethics working for them. Vice-Chairman Robert Correale represented his law firm during the back-billing
case.
After reading all my evidence (VA Medical records,
court documents, the firm's own invoices and contract, court filed letters, etc.) NJ Superior Court Judge
Ronald Graves determined that my charges warranted the Law Division for damages. Judge Ronald Graves made
his decision over the objections of Robert Correale. Strangely, the court
transcript could not be typed, because the court clerk lost her notes to what the judge said. http://www.americans-working-together.com/id111.html I brought my Legal Malpractice case up to the law division
and lost, because my case had no proof of merit, since Superior Court Judge Ronald Graves's decision was lost. (Both
cases and judges were in the same court house.)
New Jersey Superior Court - Appeals Division placed a Gag Order on me not to release information about my appeal.
The Supreme Court of NJ cleared Robert Correale and
his law firm of all charges in spite of all the evidence against them. Correale and his fellow Maynard & Truland
attorneys committed clear perjury in Supreme Court certifications. http://www.americans-working-together.com/attorney_ethics/id50.html Robert Correale
also openly mocked me for my PTSD disability in his sworn certifications. http://www.americans-working-together.com/attorney_ethics/id21.html
A CRIMINAL CASE, ETHICS CASE, CIVIL CASE OR
ALL THREE...
A high level state Supreme Court attorney ethics official, Robert Correale misuses his government and court office to Cover-Up and block ethics violations and legal malpractice charges against his own law firm, Maynard & Truland. After seven years, the Cover-Up leads all the way up to the Governor's Office, Attorney General's Office, an United States Senator and the state's Supreme Court and Superior Court. http://www.americans-working-together.com/id519.html
The FBI has agreed to review my charges after they read them on the internet.
Being burned-out from this, I find it extremely hard getting my hard-copy evidence together.
