START WITH OURSELVES No one is denying that slavery was, is, and will always be an evil institution, however, history still supports that
the Civil War was not started to uphold slavery. African tribes sold each other as slaves, more Native Americans were killed
than any other group, and the North was guilty of as many crimes as the South. Stop trying to cover up history to make yourselves
feel better. Instead teach true history and learn from its mistakes and successes, from all groups. No one group is more or
less guilty. If we want this nation to change for the better, we should all start with ourselves. (Author
